Crew4Life's amazing in-person get together

We are thrilled to announce National Volunteer Week 2025 will celebrate the power of volunteering to bring people together with the theme ‘Connecting Communities’. Volunteering creates lasting relationships that enrich lives and strengthen our communities. Join us as we explore how volunteering promotes community engagement, connection and belonging.

We all have hard times and most of us struggle in silence. Sometimes all it takes is the support of a loved one or someone you trust to lift some of the weight off your shoulders. You never know what they are going through either. Just remember it’s okay not to be okay and it’s okay to ask for support.

Live4Life's 3rd Crew Camp was held from September 23-25 at the PGL Australia campground at Campaspe Downs. 46 Year 9 & 10 Crew members from eight Live4Life communities made the trip from all over the state to come together.

Meet Mina – Crew4Life

Mina first became a Live4Life Crew member in 2018 in the Macedon Ranges and then joined Crew4Life in January this year.

On Saturday 27 April, Crew4Life from all over Victoria caught up for the first time in person in Melbourne. For some, it meant waking up at 5am to make it, for others it was the first time they had been to Melbourne on their own.

To celebrate National Volunteer Week, Live4Life would like to highlight a growing number of young people in rural and regional Victoria who are putting their hands up to volunteer as Mental Health Ambassadors for Crew4Life — bringing their Leadership skills and passions to their communities — and helping to smash the stigma surrounding mental health.

Alannah Sander, Live4Life Youth Engagement Worker, and Laura Crozier, Crew4Life member, took part in a great session — Pathways from Participation — which explored the transition from Live4Life Crew to Crew4Life, and the life, study and work pathways youth 'alumni' can pursue and how to help get them there.

Share your experiences of Life after being a Live4Life Crew Member! Were you a member of a Live4Life Crew in Macedon, Benalla or Glenelg between 2010 and 2020? AND have you left school? If so... WE WANT YOU! Come and take part in an interview about your experiences after high school.

In rural and regional Victoria, a growing group of young people are putting their hands up as mental health ambassadors and fast becoming real change makers.

Have you finished being in the Live4Life Crew and wondering what’s next? Well, that’s where Crew4Life comes in… Crew4Life is a program developed for young people, by young people!

What an amazing night it was on Friday to be at the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards Australia Gala Presentation Dinner with some of our past Live4Life Crew. Youth Live4Life were selected as finalists in the 'Group Achievement in the Community' Award sponsored by the Victorian Government.
