2025 Crew theme

“No matter what you’re going through, someone is there for you.”

Every year, the Crew creates a theme to capture the mental health messages they believe will connect with their peers and wider community. 2025’s theme reminded everyone that support is always available from friends, trusted adults or professionals, illustrating a community united in offers of care.

Youth Mental Health First Aid® training for adults in South Gippsland.

One of the most important ways adults can support young people in rural and regional areas is to undertake Youth Mental Health First Aid® training. It’s suitable for school staff and all other adults in the community, such as parents, grandparents, coaches, instructors etc.

Live4Life South Gippsland offers subsidised Youth Mental Health First Aid® training opportunities for the South Gippsland community.

Please visit the following link to see courses scheduled for 2026.

"Live4Life is a remarkable program, providing regional and rural young people and the communities that support them, with the tools to identify, understand and assist when mental health concerns arise. This program holds young people at the centre by providing the opportunity for young people to challenge the stigma, and support their peers through youth led and directed projects. South Gippsland Shire Council is proud to partner with Live4Life."

Cr Mohya Davies, Mayor, South Gippsland Shire Council
