Live4Life Wellington began delivering mental health education to the community in 2024.

The Shire of Wellington is located in Gippsland, eastern Victoria. It covers an area of 10,817 square kilometres and includes the towns of Heyfield, Rosedale, Maffra, Sale, Stratford, Coongulla, Newry, Tinamba and Yarram.

Headquartered in Sale, Wellington Shire Council is proud to take on the role of Lead Agency.

Live4Life is partnered with Yarram Secondary College, Maffra Secondary College, Sale Secondary College, Gippsland Grammar, Sale Specialist School, Catholic College Sale, Wellington Shire Council, Latrobe Regional Health and other health and community partners waiting to be onboarded to deliver this award-winning model in Wellington.

The Live4Life Wellington Crew

The Wellington Crew is made up of students from all secondary schools in Wellington. Members of the Crew design, plan and deliver mental health promotion activities throughout the year.

Youth Mental Health First Aid® training for Adults in Wellington

One of the most important ways adults can support young people in rural and regional areas is to undertake Youth Mental Health First Aid® training.

Live4Life Wellington is offering subsidised Youth Mental Health First Aid ® training opportunities for the Wellington community. Please see the following links for information on courses scheduled in 2026.

Headspace Sale provides free and confidential, mental, general and sexual health support services to young people aged 12-25 years in Wellington.

Headspace provides short-term services for mild to moderate difficulties. It is not an emergency service.
