The Crew
Did you enjoy being a part of Live4Life?
Would you like to help promote a positive mental health message within your school and community?
At the end of every year, Live4Life communities look for young people who want to join the Crew. That’s the youth participation and leadership component of Live4Life — and it’s central to how the program works in your community.
If you have completed Teen Mental Health First Aid® training in Year 8 at your local school, you can express interest in joining a Live4Life Crew.
If you didn’t complete this training but are really keen, still apply! Arrangements can be made to catch you up!
The role of the Crew is to assist in the delivery of Launch and Celebration events and drive key mental health messages at your school and in your community across each school year.
The local council (or another relevant organisation) provides a Crew Support Worker to help you lead and deliver important activities. They build on what you know about mental health and wellbeing, so you can be great ambassadors and advocates.
What does a typical Crew year look like?
“Joining the Crew was one of the best things I’ve done.”
