Mina says being in the Crew means being part of a great cause while having heaps of fun. “It doesn't matter if you don't have much spare time or have a lot. There's always something someone can do!”

Mina is also fantastic at making and editing video and has worked on recent Live4Life social media content, including featuring in the international Kindness in Community Fund announcement. He’s currently working on a small animation for Crew4Life’s upcoming social media campaign.

Q&A WITH MINA

Q: When and where did you first become a Life4Life Crew member?

A: I first became a Live4Life Crew member in 2018 for the Macedon Ranges Shire, then joined Crew4Life in January this year.

Q What is your favourite memory of the Crew?

A: My favourite Crew memory is from one of the smaller crew camps in Macedon where we ended up watching musicals at night.

Q: Would you recommend someone to become a Live4Life Crew member? Why?

A: I would absolutely recommend joining up with Live4Life. It’s a great cause and the Crew has so much fun. It doesn't matter if you don't have much spare time or have a lot. There's always something someone can do !

Q: Why did you join Crew4Life?

A: I joined Crew4Life to help expand my knowledge of youth mental health services and help contribute to the cause. Mental health education is very important to me.

Q: What have you been doing with Crew4Life?

A: With Crew4Life I have done many things so far, such as attending meetings, representative dinners, and helped filmed videos. Currently, I am working on a small animation for our upcoming social media campaign.

Q: What does being in Crew4Life mean to you?

A: Being in Crew4Life means a lot to me because it means I can help advocate for proper mental health education and teach rural youth about the signs of mental health struggles and what resources they have for help.

Q: What are you doing now?

A: Currently my only job is working as a Crew Champion for Live4Life so I spend a lot of my time working on little bits and pieces of stuff to help out the organisation.
