Lots of hard work behind the scenes from the 13 members of Hepburn Crew saw their first ever Launch Event delivered with aplomb, offering a well-organised and energetic wellness program for Year 8 students and other guests on May 17 at Daylesford College.
Live4Life Wellington boots up
One of Live4Life's newest communities has hit the ground running with an incredible 38 young people inducted as Crew for 2024! 2024 is Wellington's first year of Live4Life implementation and on Tuesday 14 May, students from from Sale Secondary College, Yarram Secondary College, Maffra Secondary College, Sale and District Specialist School, Gippsland Grammar and Catholic College Sale took the first step to becoming local community leaders and Mental Health Ambassadors.
Live4Life Glenelg shines a light on mental health!
Live4Life Glenelg celebrated its 2024 Launch Day with 200 Year 8 students from across the shire gathering at Portland Civic Hall on 22 May. Organised and led by the 48 Crew members from Years Nine and Ten under the guidance of Youth Officers Mel Smith and Meg Bennett, the event promoted positive mental health messages and introduced Glenelg's beautiful theme for 2024: 'Be the Light in Someone's Darkness'.
Break O'Day Crew hatches fantastic first-ever launch
Very excited to see our first community outside Victoria, Live4Life Break O'Day, commence its official implementation in 2024! 90 students from St Helens and St Marys District High Schools made the trip to Fingal Valley Recreation Reserve on Thursday 23rd May for a memorable launch event.

McQueen’s Wood Fired Pizza in Woodend matches funds at Live4Life Annual Dinner - helping raise over $30,000 for local charity
At the recent Live4Life Annual Dinner, the Fielding family — the team behind McQueen’s Woodfired Pizza, Panini and Coffee Pit Stop in Woodend — generously offered to match the funds raised for the Silent Auction to the tune of $10,000. The matched funding pledge spurred people on to dig deep, helping to raise more than $30,000 on the night.
