We'd love to introduce you to the incredible people who support Live4Life and young people in our communities. Mia Lobé is the Live4Life Program Lead in Youth Services in the Macedon Ranges.

A local to Macedon Ranges, Mia was keen to work for Live4Life because she had over a decade of health promotion experience, working mainly with schools on different health and wellbeing topics.

"When the opportunity came up to work in my local community with young people, I jumped at it," she says. "I was also very excited to solely focus on mental health, a topic which deserves undivided attention."

*When did you first hear about Live4Life?

Being a local I was aware of the program and was hoping the opportunity to work in this space would arise, which it did!

*How does being part of the Live4Life Crew help young people's mental health and wellbeing?

The Live4Life Crew is rebuilding at Macedon Ranges so we’re hoping it gives the opportunity for young people to connect and come up with innovative and exciting ideas to implement for the current Year 8 Live4Life participants.

*Name the 3 things you love most about your job.

1. The people I get to work with — we have so much fun and all with the common goal of improving outcomes for young people in the Macedon Ranges.

2. Connecting with young people. I’m excited for more of this as the Crew grows and evolves.

3. Improving the wellbeing of young people in the community where my children are growing up.

*Your favourite band/musician.

A Swiftie through and through
