To celebrate National Volunteer Week, Live4Life would like to highlight a growing number of young people in rural and regional Victoria who are putting their hands up to volunteer as Mental Health Ambassadors for Crew4Life — bringing their Leadership skills and passions to their communities — and helping to smash the stigma surrounding mental health.

Live4Life a winner ‘Communities in Action' Award at the Victorian LiFE Awards
Live4Life has won the 'Communities in Action' Award at the Victorian LiFE Awards on Tuesday 19 March. Hosted by Suicide Prevention Australia, the Victorian LiFE (Living is for Everyone) Awards showcased the important work being done in Victoria by individuals and organisations to prevent suicide and support those in need.
Live4Life reaches over 21,000 young people as it expands into Hepburn, Latrobe Valley and Wellington Shires.
In 2023, thanks to Live4Life, over 6,000 young people received evidence-based mental health education — a 90% increase from 2022. Since the Live4Life program began in 2010, the total number of young people in rural and regional communities who have received evidence-based mental health education is now over 21,000.
Live4Life to expand in Ballarat schools in 2024
