Macedon Ranges Celebration Day

Live4Life Macedon Ranges Crew Abigail, Lara & Julia

Big Live4Life Celebration Day event hosted by the Macedon Ranges Crew on Tuesday 22nd October!

2024 Crew members Abigail, Lara & Julia helped devise the day’s program, which saw over 400 Year 8 students from Sacred Heart College Kyneton, Braemar College and Gisborne Secondary College gather together at the brand new Regional Sports Precinct in New Gisborne. The day's activities began with the Crew being presented to the students, the announcement of the winner of the Health Promotion (design a mascot) competition, and a quiz — all emceed by Crew4Life champion Talon. Everyone then split into smaller groups to enjoy some structured activities promoting positive mental health and wellbeing, as well as explore a Mental Health and Wellbeing Expo, featuring services from across our region.

Big thanks to Woodend Rotary (with additional volunteers from surrounding clubs) for their massive catering effort. And shout out to Macedon Ranges Shire Council Community Development & Youth Services, Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health, headspace Bendigo, Romsey Neighbourhood House and Macedon Ranges Health for their invaluable support on the day. Congratulations to Bianca, Mia and the small but mighty Crew of Abigail, Lara & Julia.
