Crew4Life is Live4Life’s alumni group of Crew members. It offers a post-school program for young people passionate about improving mental health in rural and regional communities, where they can use their exceptional advocacy and leadership skills to drive further positive change. Extending their expertise gained as young Mental Health Ambassadors, Crew4Life members participate in training, storytelling and mentorship programs, as well as supporting community Crew events and activities. This important cohort heads into 2024 with 33 committed members and growing!

As part of the Crew4Life program, we are introducing a new opportunity — the chance to become a Crew Champion. Crew Champions undertake training to participate more formally in key events as official spokespeople, sharing their experience of the Live4Life model and talking about their individual mental health journeys.

Crew4Life meet online at monthly Kick Back events hosted by Live4Life’s Youth Engagement Worker, Alannah. February’s session saw members discussing topics, such as, 'What is advocacy and how can we advocate in our communities?' The group also considered the issue of stigmas in our communities and ways we can address these to make change.
