Congratulations to Cathryn Walder who has been appointed Live4Life Community Engagement Manager. This is a new position created to provide coordination and support for our team of Advisers, as well as Youth Engagement oversight. Cathryn is one of Live4Life’s longest standing members of the team, joining in 2019 as Live4Life Adviser for the South West, at which time she brought invaluable on-the-ground experience from her previous role as Live4Life Glenelg Coordinator. Cathryn graduated in 2023 from Leadership Great South Coast's flagship Community Leadership Program, designed for leaders and emerging leaders in the region.
“Having had the on the ground experience in my community and been a part of the evolution of the organisation, I feel well equipped and supported to step into this new role,” says Cathryn, and adds that the position, combined with some fine-tuning of the Live4Life team structure, “will enable our organisation to settle into the growth we have seen over the last few years”.
“I am also really excited about leaning into the skills and tools I have gained over the years, particularly during the leadership program in 2023. And so pleased to be able to work more closely with the Live4Life Advisors and Youth Engagement Worker who support all of the Live4Life communities and Crew4Life.”
Cathryn will continue in the short term to look after Southern Grampians and our pilot program in Break O’Day Tasmania.
