Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Application

The purpose of the Youth Advisory Group position is to represent and amplify the voices of young people within Youth Live4Life, ensuring their perspectives, experiences, and ideas are integral to decision-making processes. This role empowers young individuals by fostering confidence in professional settings, enhancing their leadership and participation skills, and promoting a culture of inclusivity and diversity.

Youth Advisory Group members play a key role in ensuring that the organisation remains youth-centered by actively contributing to the development and improvement of Youth Live4Life’s initiatives, providing feedback, and advocating for young people . Through mentorship opportunities and engagement with organisational leadership, members develop valuable professional and leadership skills while fostering a supportive network of youth allies additional to Crew4Life. 

Additionally, Youth Advisory Group members raise awareness of youth issues, promote dialogue with the board, and contribute to creating programs and practices that reflect the lived experiences of young people. This position is designed to empower young leaders to drive meaningful change within Live4Life and the broader community.

The group will consist of 7-11 Young People aged between 18-25 years old.
