Money for jam - Braemar donut fundraiser
For the second year running, the entrepreneurial students of Braemar College Woodend have turned Wednesdays into a hot jam doughnut fundraising tour de force! Yum!
The delicious idea was the inspiration of Live4Life Crew alumnus Isabella and Wellbeing Prefect Arlo and has once again proved to be a genius way of raising awareness of youth mental health and generating much appreciated funds at the same time.
The Macedon Ranges students ate and sold doughnuts throughout Term 3 to raise $1,034 for Youth Live4Life. Money for jam…what a great result! Live4Life CEO Bernard Galbally headed up to the campus to meet the students, joined by Buzz the Dog and proud principal Russell Deer, where he gratefully accepted the generous donation and thanked the school for their leadership in supporting young people.
Youth-driven initiatives like this are a big part of Live4Life’s faith in empowering young people.
A giant THANK YOU to everyone involved!
