Break O'Celebration Day

Break O’Day 2024 Crew

A fabulous BreakO'Day Celebration Day was held on 14 November!

Guest speaker Tyler Richardson from seminal Tasmanian rock band Luca Brasi (who originally hail from St Helens) gave a brilliant talk, sharing a meaningful journey about mental health, the importance of belonging and connection, and owning your own personal story.

The Crew took the lead in welcoming several distinguished guests, then presenting and hosting an amazing event full of colour and fun and excitement. A sense of pride and passion for the work these young people are doing was evident on the day. There was loads of good food, lots of conversations and laughter, face-painting, crazy hair colours, ball games, photos, friendships being made – all in the name of good mental health!

Plus, we got some wonderful feedback from the St Helens expo on October 16, where the Live4Life Crew shared a presentation on Live4Life and their work, acknowledging Mental Health Week and sharing ‘glimmer clouds’ (messages of hope, inspiration and encouragement written on the Live4Life cloud cutouts).

Congratulations to the Crew on a truly inspiring year!
