More than 30 members of the Baw Baw Live4Life Crew developed leadership skills at a recent training day held at the Bellbird East Pavilion in Drouin.

Making the most of the opportunity to build their capacity as leaders and develop event management skills, the crew focused on plans for mental health awareness activities set to run in local schools later this year.

As part of the day, the crew also had the opportunity to understand their individual strengths and communication styles, explore different leadership types and brainstorm ideas to deliver activities in their schools to promote safe conversations and positive mental health messaging.
