The Live4Life Macedon Ranges initiative was developed in 2009 as a community-wide response to a reported increase in depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicide in the Macedon Ranges Shire. Since 2010, the Live4Life Macedon Ranges initiative is delivered yearly in partnership with the five Macedon Ranges secondary schools and four local community organisations; the lead agency is the Macedon Ranges Shire Council.
The Live4Life Macedon Ranges Crew is made up of students from across the five participating schools. The Crew coordinate three activities throughout the year. To find out more or to get involved with the Crew contact Loren on 03 5422 0275 or email Lpolzot@mrsc.vic.gov.au
2017 Competition – Better2Gether
The theme for Macedon Ranges Live4Life 2017 is “better together”.
The theme highlights how important it is that we all work together to help young people who are struggling with their mental health as well as the benefits of sharing different skills and strengths in the community to solve mental health problems.
