Live4Life Benalla celebration event

Spring is here and it’s a great time to celebrate everything the Benalla community has achieved this year!

Around 200 gathered at the Glasshouse Function Centre for an exuberant event, which the Live4Life Benalla Crew did an amazing job bringing together — brilliantly showcasing the 2023 theme ‘Growing a new generation’.

Once again, Live4Life Benalla Crew demonstrated their powers of collaboration, organisation and creativity, hosting a large contingent of attendees and presenting a captivating program. Threading key elements of Live4Life through the day, they acknowledged the accomplishments of the year and made sure there was plenty of fun activities after the formalities.

A HUGE shout out to the 44 students who make up the Live4Life Benalla Crew this year. The Crew includes students from FCJ College Benalla and Benalla P-12 College.

Presenting finalists of the Art Competition was a highlight, with attendees treated to a superb selection of varied and beautiful interpretations of the 2023 theme.

There was also a moving and emotionally complex address from former Macedon Ranges Crew member Sally, who spoke of her own experience navigating her way through life challenges as a young person, and the important role Live4Life continues to play for her as an adult.

Next up for 2023 Live4Life Benalla Crew is their end of year break-up — with lots of interest and excitement for Crew 2024!
