There are some scary and alarming statistics when it comes to mental health.

Those of us who live in regional or rural communities are more likely to suffer from mental health issues, self-harm, or suicide. Unfortunately, our community is not immune from these facts.

The Royal commission into mental health exposed some of the real concerns communities face when dealing with mental health and our path forward is not an individual one. It is a community one.

We all play a part in the health and wellbeing of family, friends, neighbours, and community members. We also know that prevention is so much better than cure.

One organisation that the Central Goldfields Shire has partnered with in our fight for better is Live4Life.
